1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using CostMyRecipe.app (https://costmyrecipe.app), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the service.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting. Your continued use of CostMyRecipe.app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Who We Are
CostMyRecipe.app is operated by WebsiteWizardOfOz (ABN 22 551 534 961), a business registered in Australia. In these Terms, "we", "us", and "our" refer to WebsiteWizardOfOz.

3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use CostMyRecipe.app. By registering, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
If you are using CostMyRecipe.app on behalf of a business or organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
4. Account Registration
To access certain features of CostMyRecipe.app, you must create an account by providing your name, email address, and (optionally) a password. You may also sign in using Google or Apple.
4.1 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
4.2 Accurate Information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as necessary. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false or misleading information.
5. Subscription Plans & Pricing
CostMyRecipe.app offers multiple subscription tiers with different feature limits. Current plans include:
- Free Plan: Save up to 1 recipe. No credit card required.
- Bronze Plan: A$5.00/month. Save up to 5 recipes.
- Silver Plan: A$9.99/month. Save up to 50 recipes, duplicate recipes, access 15 popular café dishes.
- Gold Plan: A$50.00/month. Unlimited recipes, PDF export, food cost % calculator, duplicate recipes, access 15 popular café dishes.
- Lifetime Plan: A$250.00 one-time payment. All Gold features, forever. (Limited-time offer.)
All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. Price changes for existing subscribers will be communicated at least 30 days in advance and will take effect at the next billing cycle.
6. Payment Terms
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorise us (via Stripe) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis (monthly) or as a one-time payment (Lifetime plan).
6.1 Automatic Renewal
Monthly subscriptions (Bronze, Silver, Gold) automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will be charged the then-current subscription price.
6.2 Failed Payments
If a payment fails, we will attempt to process it again. If payment cannot be collected after multiple attempts, your subscription may be suspended or downgraded to the Free plan. You remain responsible for any outstanding amounts owed.
6.3 Taxes
You are responsible for any applicable taxes (including GST) associated with your subscription. Prices displayed include GST where required by Australian law.
7. Refund Policy
We want you to be satisfied with CostMyRecipe.app. Our refund policy is as follows:
7.1 Monthly Subscriptions (Bronze, Silver, Gold)
No refunds are provided for monthly subscriptions. If you cancel, you will retain access to your paid features until the end of your current billing period, after which your account will revert to the Free plan.
7.2 Lifetime Plan
Lifetime plan purchases are non-refundable after 14 days from the date of purchase. Within the first 14 days, you may request a full refund by contacting us at [email protected].
7.3 Promotional Codes & Referral Credits
Promotional codes and referral credits have no cash value and are non-refundable. If you cancel a subscription that was activated using a promo code, you will not receive a refund or credit.
7.4 Exceptional Circumstances
In exceptional circumstances (e.g., service outages, billing errors), we may issue refunds at our sole discretion. Contact us to discuss your situation.
8. Cancellation & Termination
8.1 Cancellation by You
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged for subsequent periods, and your account will revert to the Free plan.
You may also delete your account entirely. Deleting your account will permanently erase all your recipes and personal data (subject to legal retention requirements). This action cannot be undone.
8.2 Termination by Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if:
- You violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy;
- You engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity;
- Your payment method fails repeatedly;
- We are required to do so by law or court order.
If we terminate your account for cause, you will not be entitled to a refund of any prepaid fees.
9. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use CostMyRecipe.app only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Use the service to violate any applicable laws or regulations;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, servers, or databases;
- Upload, transmit, or distribute any viruses, malware, or harmful code;
- Scrape, harvest, or collect data from CostMyRecipe.app using automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.) without our written permission;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service;
- Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity;
- Use the service to send spam, unsolicited messages, or engage in phishing;
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of CostMyRecipe.app or the servers/networks connected to it;
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to CostMyRecipe.app without our written consent;
- Use the service in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our infrastructure.
Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.
10. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of CostMyRecipe.app — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and the compilation thereof — are the exclusive property of WebsiteWizardOfOz or its licensors and are protected by Australian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use CostMyRecipe.app for your personal or internal business purposes, subject to these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our service or its content without our prior written consent.
The CostMyRecipe.app name, logo, and all related trademarks are the property of WebsiteWizardOfOz. You may not use them without our express written permission.
11. User Content
You retain ownership of any recipes, ingredient lists, and other content you create and save in CostMyRecipe.app("User Content"). By using the service, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
You represent and warrant that:
- You own or have the necessary rights to all User Content you submit;
- Your User Content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
- Your User Content complies with these Terms and all applicable laws.
We do not claim ownership of your User Content and will not use it for any purpose other than providing the service, except as required by law or with your explicit consent.
You may export or delete your User Content at any time. Upon account deletion, we will delete your User Content within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
CostMyRecipe.app IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. To the fullest extent permitted by Australian law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:
- Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement;
- Warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or harmful components;
- Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content, data, or pricing information provided by CostMyRecipe.app.
Pricing Data Disclaimer: CostMyRecipe.app uses publicly available pricing data from Coles and Woolworths supermarkets. While we strive to keep this data accurate and up to date, we do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or currency. Prices may change without notice. You are responsible for verifying pricing information before making purchasing or business decisions.
We do not warrant that the service will meet your specific requirements or that any errors will be corrected.
Note: Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy conferred by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or other applicable law that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by agreement. Where the ACL or other law implies a warranty or condition into these Terms, our liability for breach of that warranty or condition is limited (to the extent permitted by law) to, at our option: (a) in the case of services, resupplying the services or paying the cost of resupplying the services; or (b) in the case of goods, replacing or repairing the goods, or paying the cost of replacing or repairing the goods.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY AUSTRALIAN LAW, WEBSITEWIZARDOFOZ, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF CostMyRecipe.app, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use ofCostMyRecipe.app shall not exceed the greater of:
- The total amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or
- A$100.00 AUD.
This limitation of liability applies to all causes of action, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, breach of warranty, or any other legal theory.
Note: Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Australian law. Where the Australian Consumer Law or other law implies a warranty or condition that cannot be excluded, our liability is limited as set out in Section 12 above.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless WebsiteWizardOfOz, its directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:
- Your use of CostMyRecipe.app;
- Your violation of these Terms;
- Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property, privacy, or other proprietary rights;
- Any User Content you submit or share through the service.
We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defence and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with our defence of such claim.
15. Third-Party Services
CostMyRecipe.app integrates with third-party services, including:
- Stripe: Payment processing (governed by Stripe's Terms of Service)
- Google / Apple: OAuth authentication (governed by their respective terms)
- Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager: Analytics and tracking
Your use of these third-party services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, functionality, or practices of any third-party services. Any disputes arising from your use of third-party services are between you and the third party.
CostMyRecipe.app may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., Coles, Woolworths). We do not endorse or assume any responsibility for the content or practices of linked sites.
16. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email or via a notice withinCostMyRecipe.app.
Your continued use of CostMyRecipe.app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the service and may cancel your subscription.
We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any updates.
17. Governing Law & Disputes
17.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Queensland, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Queensland for the resolution of any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of CostMyRecipe.app.
17.2 Dispute Resolution
If you have a dispute with us, we encourage you to contact us first at [email protected] to attempt to resolve the matter informally. Most disputes can be resolved quickly and amicably through direct communication.
If we are unable to resolve the dispute informally, you agree that any legal action or proceeding must be commenced within one (1) year after the cause of action arose, or such claim shall be permanently barred.
17.3 Class Action Waiver
To the extent permitted by law, you agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
